Cancellation insurance that makes sense
Meditapass started out as cancellation insurance offered directly in our partners’ bookings — hotels, tour operators and ticket sellers. Now we offer it to you directly too: on its own, online and for anything you pay for in advance.
Who’s who
Intermediary and insurer
You take out the insurance through us, and the insurer is Colonnade Insurance. We only offer insurance from this insurer; we’re paid by it through a commission included in the premium, so you don’t pay us anything extra.
You
You take out insurance for what you’ve paid for, and pay the premium.
Meditapass
As the intermediary, we arrange the insurance for you, give advice and help you make a claim.
Colonnade Insurance
The insurer bears the risk and pays out claims in accordance with the policy terms.

Complaints and dispute resolution
You can send a complaint to us at tomas@meditapass.cz, and a complaint about the insurer to stiznosti@colonnade.cz. You can contact the Czech National Bank (cnb.cz) about the conduct of the insurer or the intermediary. Disputes arising from an insurance policy can also be resolved out of court through the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (coi.cz) or the Office of the Ombudsman of the Czech Insurance Association (ombudsmancap.cz).
